So I was thinking today. Thinking about if and when I get around to upgrading from the stock sound system where I would put the subs. Then I got to pondering on this idea... Swap out the air cylinders that hold the hatch up for a stronger set, reinforce the hatch tray somehow, and mount a sub box to the under side of the hatch tray. This way you can open up the back and your subs would be pointing right out of the back..

Does that make sence? Kind of like how the Axis tC lifts the TV in the back...

Thoughts?

Wouldn't you want your subs pointing up, rather than down at the floor, and inside the car when the hatch is lifted, rather than outside?
