On page 53 of the August Super Street issue, Import Trenz used my car to advertise the Invader kit without my permission. Is there anything I can do about this? I don't want to be a dick and sue, but should they owe me something in return? They did afterall steal a picture of my car and use it without my permission. Let me know what you think guys.

To be honest, I cannot see you getting any money out of this at all. There are lots of people who would want to be where you are. I do know that on public property you can take pictures of anything, whether or not you can use them to sell something... yea.
I wouldn't bother getting a lawyer, but I would call up import trendz or whatever, and ask immediately to speak to the editor or whatever, and then ask that your name be put in there. That's the most I think you'd get. |
