After a long time in the works, I got motivated last night and worked my ass off so that I could put the new How-To Articles section online a couple minutes ago!
Most how-to articles have inline images, all have larger and more useful thumbnail images, and all can be commented on. How-to photos can be commented on as well, and I, for one, will be going through my own how-to articles and commenting some stuff to clarify the photos for people. Also, how-to articles now have neat search-engine-and-people-friendly URLs. No more http://www.6gc.net/index.php?action=howto&itu=148...where does that go? 148 tells me nothing. Instead, that how-to is at http://www.6gc.net/howto/install_front_sway_bar...much better! (Of course, old URLs will still work) A couple new how-tos were put online as well, and more are coming very soon. Let me know what you think. -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...

QUOTE(Coomer @ Aug 16, 2006 - 9:35 PM) Let me know what you think. Hi Coomber may I suggest this on the Audio installation pages - If you can, make some links on the side or bottom or maybe a 'What's related' or 'You may be interested in this' ... e.g. on your How to install subs page (http://www.6gc.net/howto/install_subwoofers_in_front_doors) add the links to: Installing 6.5" Components In the Front http://www.6gc.net/index.php?action=howto&itu=47 Installing a New Head Unit http://www.6gc.net/howto/install_head_unit Installing New Rear 6.5" speakers (not done yet - as I hope this is created with photos) but closest related link is here.. http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=40098 The new layouts are better - hope this helps all who want to upgrade their sound system without searching so much. -------------------- san0.:GT-SS2:. |

Yeah, I've got plans to add a related links section to the how-to articles. For now, you can post a comment though. -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...
