After a long time in the works, I got motivated last night and worked my ass off so that I could put the new How-To Articles section online a couple minutes ago!
![]() Most how-to articles have inline images, all have larger and more useful thumbnail images, and all can be commented on. How-to photos can be commented on as well, and I, for one, will be going through my own how-to articles and commenting some stuff to clarify the photos for people. ![]() Also, how-to articles now have neat search-engine-and-people-friendly URLs. No more http://www.6gc.net/index.php?action=howto&itu=148...where does that go? 148 tells me nothing. Instead, that how-to is at http://www.6gc.net/howto/install_front_sway_bar...much better! ![]() A couple new how-tos were put online as well, and more are coming very soon. Let me know what you think. ![]() -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...

Will lag of the ".html" extension freak out the seach engines?
Though, nice work on the SEO links! You could probably apply it throughout the whole forum links. Something like instead of : www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=40342 it'd be : www.6gc.net/forums/The_How-To_Articles_Section_is_Renovated-fr-40342.html This post has been edited by tomazws: Aug 19, 2006 - 12:59 PM -------------------- |
