...yea so...went up to new england dragway, and.."ohh boy..its fun ford weekend" needless to say there were litterally HUNDEREDS of mustangs.
we only got 4 runs in total (2 for me, 2 for the wife) i never got a clean run in...first run i missed 5th gear, and ran 14.3 the 2nd run...i was so on the chip about waiting 2hrs to get a run in, i shifted from 3rd to 2nd... needless to say, the car did NOT like it...lmao heres a pic i thought there was a hard limiter on this thing?!?!?!?

the reason the rev limiter didnt do anything is this
it is meant to prevent the engine from accelerating itself past a certain RPM, it has no control over how the gearing in the transmission can accelerate the engine if you miss shift. the ECU cut all fuel out shortly after you passed the hard limiter, but the momentum and gears forced the rev's up. -------------------- 1994 Celica GT4 WRC Edition
