I was tired of not being able to find all of my cleaning stuff so I went out today and bought a whole new lineup. Pretty much everything is Meguiars so I am hoping to get a good result. Here is a pic of what I have. I dont have soap because the water pressure at my house is messed up so I take it to the self washes around my area then take it home to wax it and everything.
![]() What does everybody else use? Has anybody ever tried the Meguiars 3 step wax thing? I was thinking about getting it but want good feedback on it to justify spending that much money lol -------------------- ![]() |

QUOTE ![]() All of that cleaner is probably worth more than my car ![]() QUOTE(jdg371 @ Aug 22, 2006 - 3:03 PM) I used the meguires clay bar.. after claybar'in the whole car. I still have "imperfections" like dirt stuck on the paint.. am I doing something wrong? When you clay bar your car make sure that the clay can easily slide across the surface that youve just cleaned. If there is any sticking then there is still contaminants, just keep going until the clay can glide easily over the paint before you move to the next section. Also, dont use too much lubricant. Making sure you car is washed well also helps. I would goto Autogeek and check out some stuff they have there. I am going to clay bar my car next time, then follow it up with a good polish/pre wax cleaner, then a good coat of NXT and take some pics to show the result. I have actually been thinking about getting into the world of automotive detailing, has anybody ventured into this?
