So my mechanic calls me this morning beaming about this Toyota Paseo that one of his customers is selling for 5k. Has a set and an alarm system already and it's been in his shop every three months for oil changes and whatnot...so he's trying to convince me to buy it.
Me: "But I already bought the Celica. You know, the one you said was great except for the oil leak, which we're gonna fix?" Mechanic: "Yeah, well, I don't like your Celica as much as this Paseo. This car is a great car, the guy takes care of it better than he takes care of his wife." Me: "Hmm...well, I'll look at it, but I really don't have the money, so..." Mechanic: "If you don't have the money I'll lend it to you and you can pay me back when you sell the Celica." (SELL THE CELICA?!?!?!) So...yeah...I think deep down inside that I am totally not going to go for this...but, I dunno...just the fact that my mechanic (also my boyfriends father) is willing to lend me 5k to get this car and ditch the Celi is really, really bothering me... what do you guys think? --------------------  "I bet you drive a standard."
