Hi everyone,
I'm new to this site. Just thought I introduce myself. I didn't even know there were so many people in favor of the 6gen Celicas. From reading around the forums, I found something funny and it was the fact that quite the few people of the owner of the 6gen Celicas are their wives. I guess I belong here too since my wife also owns a 6gen Celica. I have no idea what model it is though as to the GT and so on... Anyways, I'm on here to read some more info about the 6gen Celica and know more about it. I personally love it for it's gas mileage and for some reason on the highway going at the same speed as my car, it just slowly passes me as I fall behind. My wife owns a automatic 1994 Toyota Celica while I own a 1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse GST. Gotta love turbo!!! This post has been edited by gstjoker: Aug 25, 2006 - 6:02 PM |

Okay, I finally got some pictures of the Celica. I just waxed the car a week ago but it's already dirty. Sorry for the large pictures, I'm trying to figure out how to resize them.
Here's the engine bay. It's dirty but not as dirty as when we first got it. I cleaned it up a little bit. And for those who couldn't figure out where the turbo was on my eclipse. It's connected from the intake to the intake pipe/hose. It's still the stock turbo T25. It's starting to show some very early stages of shaft play so I'm planning to buy the Evo Big16g turbo soon with the intercooler and so on to complete the build. I'm looking for a high or low 13sec. car. That'll be good enough for me. This post has been edited by gstjoker: Aug 26, 2006 - 12:16 PM |
