So I had to sleep in my celica on Saturday night and I found 3 ways - Anyone got any other ideas??
I actually caught myself thinking "I shoulda got a 4 door car" lol cuz it was not comfortable Position 1 - Seat reclined back, steering wheel lifted all the way up, seat moved all the way back Position 2 - Front seats moved all the way to the front and laying across the back seats. This was not comfortable due to the fact that in the middle it is raised and hits ya right in the side Position 3 - I have a sub in the back mounted to the right passenger backseat so I put the left back seat down and had laid down. I had my bottom half in the hatch and top half on the folded back seat. It was cramped but was better than position 2. I ended up back in Position 1 and was able to get 2.5 hours of sleep. I should have just drove the 2 hours back home and slept for 5 hours then drove back out for work lol. -------------------- Cruisin down the street in my Infiniti...always lookin for my next trip to Sin City

Why would you put your self in the position of sleeping in the car in the first place? In such a case I would probably have my camping gear in the car with me and do that instead. Sleeping in the car is always dangerous should not make a habbit of it.
I dont agree with sleeping it off when your are drunk or really tired because people tend to park it in the highway and lots of accidents have been caused this way. If you need to sleep and dont have a choice, you need to at least pick a nice and safe place (no danger of being hit or the car rolling down the road). |

True.dat SO long as my wife approved My olds is good for sleeping in, the seats recline way back and there is plenty of room. The corbeau seats are great for driving, but suck for napping in, even leaned way back. And some of us are too tall to fit in the trunk-back seat area. If I had to I would use the car as a wimmin magnet and sleep with one of the many that would stop to touch the car. Or the ground. |
