SRT-4's are what F-bodys were back in the late 90's--cheap and fast out of the box, and that pissed everyone off because some idiot could go buy a car that'd blow the doors off of theirs, so they automatically said it was crap and that all the owners were idiots.
When in reality it's all just jealousy.... maybe not of the car itself--but of the speed. The truth is that there's not much out there (new) that's faster for your dollar than an SRT-4. It's been like that since they originally went on sale. Tack on excellent aftermarket factory support and you've got a formula for success. Even the old Neon DOHC coupes could spank any stock/lightly modded 6gc up and down all day. Some people just don't like to admit the truth because it's 1) a Dodge and 2) a Neon. |

I have admitted they have respectable power. I just wouldn't buy one because they look like dog do-do. -------------------- QUOTE(lagos @ Jul 10, 2006 - 1:55 PM) i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this. |
