and, IMO, that looks like quite a hack-job. a-pillar pods are much more in the line of vision. the way you drilled isn't even on an even surface, they are too far away from the driver to be safely utilized. and then those other 2 gauges just sitting there makes it all look out of place...

Gauges are not for safely race, if you want failsafe gauges, you have to buy electronic gauges with alert led when the values are too high or too low... for example my Greddy fuel pressure gauge has it... Or, even better, and this is what I made on my car, all the sensor are connected to my ecu and then to the PC you see on the passenger seat, and when a sensor is out of normal values, I get an alert and it goes in safe mode. IMHO this is the only way to go. And that's what I made... PS: for this purpose, I will put a 7" touchscreen monitor in the 2 din for the carPC that works with my ecu.
