 Engine revving weird |

Ok so lately my car has been revving weird. Whenim in 3rd-5th and cruising a long at say 2-3k rpms if I hit the gas the rpms jump up to 4-5k as if I had the clutch in, then they drop back down to about 3200 and drive normally. What could be wrong?

Clamp force has nothign to do with the engine other thatn it can hold more power before slipping, and creates a heavier pedal in most instances.
It is the pressure the PPA springs or spring disc exerts on the clutch to the flywheel. |
