So, heres alittle story that might get some gears turning... i wish mine did.
Earlier this week. tuesday to be exact, the 6gc got dropped off at a maaco for a nice 2,000 dollar paint job. their "best". knowing, maaco has had alot of issues with their paintjobs and what not, still sceptical as i dropped it off. Had one of those feelings you get, like you know something is goign to go wrong... They said it would be dont by friday. Friday comes, no phone call. kinda upset, but understandable. so today, while at school, my parents drive to go pick it up. And say the paint looks amazing. took camera phone pictures and txtd them to me. and it looks amazing from what i see. knowing my dad, being a perfetionest, he would not pay them if there was anything wrong with the paint. So while looking over the paint, the manager comes up to my parents and tells them something quite frustrating to us all. My dad one, compliments and thanks him on what a great job they did with the paint job. and he says thank you, but.... He handed my father the keys to the car, and it starts up and sounded alittle weird. then makes some crazy noises says my mom and then stops kinda, like if the car stalled, but in slow motion. and then would not turn back on..... hmm? wtf happened? the guy told my dad that there was something wrong with the enginge and that on MONDAY, they will look at it. When we dropped the car off, we took the carbon fiber hood off, knowing, maaco, they **** up, we dont want them painting this 400 dollar hood. thinking the car would be inside the garage while they worked on it. the car sat through a horrible rain / dust / wind storm with no hood, and now does not run at all. and whats even worse, they want us to pay for the repairs that they caused to my car. And now i have to wait untill monday for them to Even LOOK at what they did to it. but by all means, the paintjob seriously looks amazing. but the fact that my car is now not running. really pisses me the **** off. may i add, the car also has 5+ more miles on the car, than it did when we dropped it off. joy riding anyone? Did they tell you it would be inside while it waited? If not, I don't really think its their fault.

wow no wonder no one wants to go to macco unless its a touch up or something...of all the people i've known who went to macco, they had negative feedbacks...bubbles on the car, some parts were sanded and some weren't, sanding sucked cause you can see it, certain parts weren't painted, overspray, blah blah blah. sorry to hear the news man! hopefully they get what they did!
