Theres this thing connected to the air intake hose that is near the throttle body. What is it and what does it do? It seems to only be on ST models and not the GT. Ever pic that I seen with an intake does not have that triangular box thing. The reason i ask cuz i want to put an intake in my ST but dont want to touch it fearing its something important. Heres a pic:
I appreciate any info you have. 97rocket hope u dont mind me using ur pic its only the with a good angle to see that thing connected to the hose. This post has been edited by chandy1986: Sep 11, 2006 - 10:59 AM |

QUOTE(WannabeGT4 @ Sep 11, 2006 - 2:42 PM) GTs have them as well. They're just on the underside of the intake closer to the filter box. QUOTE(presure2 @ Sep 11, 2006 - 5:38 PM) yea, GT's have them as well, its just a resonator designed to quiet the intake sound. bingo....i noticed it too, but figured if it was there, it had a purpose, so y even ask. (i noticed when i took my stock intake out, and put in my injen SRI) -------------------- Kawi Love |
