Tonight I finally got around to fixing some problems with user profile photo uploads.

A minor bug that no-one probably ever encountered which may have caused image uploads to fail was fixed.

One of the biggest problems was poor image quality after auto-resizing. This issue has been fixed, and an example of the difference can be seen below.

Another problem was that thumbnail images were being cropped, in order to hide the 6G Celicas watermark bar that was automatically placed on the bottom of uploaded images. This resulted in thumbnails such as the following.

This has been fixed, and thumbnail images are no longer cropped, unless of course, they're over 105 pixels tall, in which case they will be automatically cropped to 105 pixels.

Finally, previews of your uploaded images are displayed once your uploads are complete, as shown below.

I apologize for the poor quality image uploads and problems of the past, but now they're fixed, so upload away! biggrin.gif

P.S. - If you find any problems or errors whatsoever, please let me know so that I can fix them. smile.gif

Awesome!

I have another idea...

Could you do something where when someone posts a picture, they are automatically resized? Or, i'm sure you've seen celica-clubs setup where they have pic, but then you can click it to enlarge it.

Just some ideas...

Thanks-
