What do you guys think is better for maximum flow. 4-2-1 Headers or 4-1 headers?

True, but 4-2-1 is almost always better. That counts especially for our cars. But a longer length 4-1 would give better performance than a 4-2-1. Or if the quality of the 4-1 was higher than the 4-2-1. But if equal quality, the 4-2-1 is almost always better.

Depends on where you want your power. 4-1's are usually better for High RPM gains... which would be pointless on an engine like a 5S-FE that has a head design that has no breath up top.

Plus there are so many other things that factor into it... but personally I'd go with a 4-2-1 setup on any american model celica.

Heck, dropping that extra 40 or so pounds off the nose of the car from that cast iron log manifold is worth it. Couple that with a battery relocation and the front of your celica will go from German Broad sword to Italian Sabre.
