I am looking (window shopping, from a linux box no less.. *ponder*) into saving up for some suspension. I have heard mixed reviews on Tien Coilovers ( http://www.optionimports.com/zzt231flta2.html ) and in fact coilovers in general.. Admitedly I do not know much about suspension at all so I am kind of just looking into what all it would take / how long / how much..

What kind of suspension do yall have? How happy are you with it?

I really have 2 goals with getting some suspension:

1: Naturally most important is preformance. Reliability and low maintnence are a plus. I have noticed a bit of a sloppy feeling cornering at 40 - 50... I want to say body roll but I dont know if thats the right term, almost feels like kind of a pivot. I hate it.

2: Because as we all know the Celi is a hot hothothot ride, looks matter.. I was thinking here my goal is to drop my ride about an inch and get some 7th gen 16" rims. Would that fly? Anything to consider here?

Any / all feedback, comments etc welcome and encouraged. Is there anything else I should be considering in the equation for getting suspension? Thanks.

First off, if you really want to get into suspension, your best bet is too read the stickies in the suspension forum and do some searching in the suspension specific forum. You will learn ALOT just by reading those and allow yourself to make 10 times better purchases. Thats where i started anyways and i would recommend it. I have intrax springs, which like teins, are really high quality springs. I have them on celica GT-S rims. Keep in mind, you need shocks to match your springs. Not brand, but if you go to low you really shouldnt get KYB's since they are just replacments. Go aftermarket.
