so i just wanted to share the news my car was vandalized last night at work..
i left my car in the lot after my shift and went with my friends to see some rippers. came back 2 hours later around 1:30am and i find this.. btw, these are pics i took this afternoon. they tried prying off my driver side door handle and the plastic trimming around the quarter panel window to the driver window to get in but isn't too damaged.. the handle is now buzzing when i put the bass up. they probably realized i had a stock deck so they didn't bother getting inside. instead the saw my back pack in the back seat, smashed the pass window and took it. they finished it off by keying it afterwards.... f**ing idiots! -------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |

Sorry about that man. I can't believe there are people like this. try investing in an alarm if you don't have one already, it would not stop them but will draw some attention to them and reduce the amount of damage.
Sorry once again. -------------------- 3sgteing.

Sorry once again. i bought an alarm complete with install for $600 last year (it was the best model then). they said they'd hold the unit for upto a year until i get my car fixed (i bought my car salvaged at the time). when i got the car repaired and registered, i called them back but they had already closed down. i still have my receipt and their dumb 1-800 customer service can't do $h*et.. i contacted the area manager of the head office and he doesn't reply to my e-mails. what should i do? -------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |

Try sending them a letter with some legal terms in it and also include a copy of the receipt.. maybe that might work. I don't know about getting a lawyer though, it would definitely work but it all depends on how much its gonna cost when all is said and done. But if you have to buy an alarm again, try getting it from a franchise ...something like best buy, circiut city etc so if something goes wrong or you move you, rest assured you will be able to them. Yeah similar thing happened to me few years ago, I had a problem with my alarm going off while driving and would not arm or disarm, I was in school in another state, when I finally went back to my home state to get it fixed, there was a cellphone store sitting in place . store closed down can't locate them. So I just went home and yanked it out of the car . -------------------- 3sgteing.
