I was racing a Z24 Cavy with a 50 shot and when I went to go from 3rd to 2nd insted of 4th gear. I was a good 2 car lengths ahead at the time though. The only reason I win races against most guys is because of my launches and fast shifts. But when I missed the shift, the motor went haywire. The rev limiter did not kick in at all. I have no idea how high it rev'd, but it was past the 8k mark. But now, the flywheel is litterally in pieces. Which is really a rare thing to happen. The clutch is obviously gone too. And I may have bent the crank. So, I might be in the market for a 3sgte, 3sge, 1mzfe, 3mzfe, or 4age. We'll see what happens. I hate to waste this opertunity and put another 5sfe in there. It all just depends on what I can find and for what price. I'm really upset to see my baby down though.

QUOTE(Shocker @ Sep 19, 2006 - 6:26 PM) woot..i want to see your 1/8th mile time..im gonna start taking my car to the track and id like to see what i can do..but ill have a 7afte..do im hoping mine will be a bit better..but i dont have ubber shift skills..so thatl prolly slow me down. My previous record says I had the good shifting skills, but it has beeb tarnished. It was a really big race for me, and I was pretty nervous. I think that's why I missed. I keep replaying it over and over trying to figure out how I did it wrong. Honestly, I can never remember hitting the wrong gear like that since I started driving standards when I was 12 driving the farm truck around. But those are a lot of years to possibly forget things. I don't know anything about the 7afte's. The 5sfe just had so much torque that you could fly right off the line. People usually caught me at the end, but that's how I expected it to happen. I want to get this V6 turbo project of mine going so I can run with the big boys. There is a 425hp Civic in town, I know everyone has one in their town too, and I told him I was coming for him next summer. I don't think I could get the hp right off, but I'm still going after him. If I have my way, my car is going to be completely crap to drive. I know that, but for some reason I just can't bring myself to say "stop." EDIT: I run low to mid 9s in the 1/8. My best was a 9.205. I had to go get the slip from the glove box. It'll be there till I get a better one. This post has been edited by Bigmeanbulldog55: Sep 19, 2006 - 8:08 PM -------------------- Live Free, Be Happy
