i just want to know if u swap a motor, do u have to tell insurance companies....do they check the id number on your engines.... do u get penalized if they found out that your engines not the same or your car isnt polution proof.....i want to know this cause i want to swap my motor but the sites that i ve been through, it seems like theres a big fee to swap a motor........so im just wondering whats the safest way to swap a motor into my celica....please all in details.... biggrin.gif

well your insurance will go up

they will probably have to figure out some custom policy or something

like maybe insure you for all trac rates or something

or you could not tell them but IF you get in a big accident then you wont be covered IF they look at your engine code

you can possibly tell them that your stock one fooked up and its just the head/or block from a 3s-gte

or tell them that its just a turbo kit
