i was just talking to my friend last night about the extra coolant to/from the turbo...

how many people running turbo setups use these extra coolant lines and how many people just use oil?

my friend was saying he (and a bunch of people on vortex) only use oil...

i didn't see anything about it in manny's build diary... but i saw a post on celicatech or something where he had coolant lines to/from the turbo?

so i was just wondering what some people here would recommend

thanks

if the turbo has coolant jackets might as well use them. some turbos are only oil cooled but they are made to be. so im not sure how "safe" it is, maybe shortening the life of the turbo a little. nothing drastic.
