So I have been at this temp job for about 1 month and 1/2 now and The place is becoming more and more and more boring everyday. I really don't do anything and most of the time I just spend it on doing meaninglesss task over and over. I'm Actually a Personal Assistant to the Engineer who runs the place, but my pay is really at the Minimum wage while my work? Is doing Electrical Wiring, Computer repairs, and High tech stuff.
I feel like Im used so Im quitting on the spot tomorrow, by not showing up. Any Ideas or suggestions like if I should call in and say I quit, or just don't show up for the next few days?

ask your immediate supervisor if you can talk to him for a few minutes, and tell him what you told us--basically, that you feel that you're overworked and underpaid, and that you think that you might be moving in a different direction. if you've been doing a good job and working hard, he/she might be willing to either offer you a raise or diversify your workload.

you have to present it positively, though. you can't just storm in and bitch. done that, doesn't work.

if you really just want to quit, find another job first, and then quit however you'd like. just remember that burning the bridge will disallow you from using this experience on your resume and/or getting recommendations out of them in the future.

not showing up is the worst thing you could do right now, so just think it through before you do something that drastic.

hope that helps.
