So I have been at this temp job for about 1 month and 1/2 now and The place is becoming more and more and more boring everyday. I really don't do anything and most of the time I just spend it on doing meaninglesss task over and over. I'm Actually a Personal Assistant to the Engineer who runs the place, but my pay is really at the Minimum wage while my work? Is doing Electrical Wiring, Computer repairs, and High tech stuff.
I feel like Im used so Im quitting on the spot tomorrow, by not showing up. Any Ideas or suggestions like if I should call in and say I quit, or just don't show up for the next few days? |

Not showing up for work is how you quit at McDonnalds.
If you want to quit, explain why and give your two weeks notice. They'll either say: "Sorry it's not working out. Thanks for your time." or "What might we be able to do (within reason) to retain you?" And when you do leave, you'll have references there in the future. If you call or just stop going, then you can never use that job for anything. No reference, no expierence, nothing. |
