So I have been at this temp job for about 1 month and 1/2 now and The place is becoming more and more and more boring everyday. I really don't do anything and most of the time I just spend it on doing meaninglesss task over and over. I'm Actually a Personal Assistant to the Engineer who runs the place, but my pay is really at the Minimum wage while my work? Is doing Electrical Wiring, Computer repairs, and High tech stuff.
I feel like Im used so Im quitting on the spot tomorrow, by not showing up. Any Ideas or suggestions like if I should call in and say I quit, or just don't show up for the next few days? |

a lot of times, in jobs like these, if you give them two weeks notice and tell them that its because you don't feel like you're doing anything useful, places will let you leave much sooner...I spent a summer hiring workers for a construction company and we needed people to start within 3 days, and most of them were able to quit their previous jobs without creating bad relationships once they explained that they were going to get paid more, have better hours, etc. etc...
I quit working at a restaurant once, and I'm so glad that I gave notice and kept the relationship good, because last summer I really needed some cash and they hired me back for a few weeks...I hated working but I was so poor I didn't care, lol -------------------- ![]() "I bet you drive a standard."
