G35 Options

So I was talking with my dad today and he said that if I get myself out of my 3000 dollars of debt by this december then next summer he would help co-sign if I needed it cuz of my credit for a G35. Its too early to tell if this would happen but what color would you guys think is best?? I didnt think of any other color than black so I could throw some black wheels, lower it, dual exhaust and tinted windows. but then i saw the blue which is hot and i havent seen often. I know theres a new one coming out next spring but id probably get a 03 G35 or something


PS - dont jump on the celica parting yet lol cuz we'd keep it as the back up car in the family

Ha! ive been researching the G35 for a while in anticipation of getting one. I would recommend getting at least an '04+. The '03 has so many recalls i wouldnt trust the previous owner to have kept up with all of them. Also, im assuming your getting the 6mt, the 03 and 04 came with the brembo brakes, but were discontinued for the 05. Sounds crappy not to have them, but i heard that if the brembos ever need servicing or parts be prepared to pay out the a##. Also, the interior changed for the '05 and comes with the radio key, which is cool to never need to take your keys out of your pocket and just walk up to your car, get in and push the start button.

The colors i like are the silver (not the grey), black, and red. Im actually waiting for the new ones to come out before i decide. If i like the new one, ill get that. If not, ill get the highest year of this gen that i can find. But finding the money to pay for the car AND pay for the mods, which are 2 times more expensive than for our car, will be tough... but of course necessary
