So I have been at this temp job for about 1 month and 1/2 now and The place is becoming more and more and more boring everyday. I really don't do anything and most of the time I just spend it on doing meaninglesss task over and over. I'm Actually a Personal Assistant to the Engineer who runs the place, but my pay is really at the Minimum wage while my work? Is doing Electrical Wiring, Computer repairs, and High tech stuff.
I feel like Im used so Im quitting on the spot tomorrow, by not showing up. Any Ideas or suggestions like if I should call in and say I quit, or just don't show up for the next few days?

You could just keep your job...getting paid to do nothing sounds like a bargin to me....I wish I could get paid to sit on my arse...we all have to start somewhere, you can swop with me if you want and work 14 hour days every day, and have only one day off every two weeks......one of my first jobs I spent two years washing up an the hottest kitchen ever working my ass off till way beyond midnight, bored out of my skull......a few years later I was the head chef and the boss...dont quit unless you have something better to go to , plus you never know whats in stall for you.
Its much easier to get a job when you have a job aswell, for some strange reason...imagine not finding work for 6 months and having to sell things like your car to make ends meet.

Do something off your own bat...prove to them that you are capable of doing so much more...you might get a transfer or something.

Already done most of tat and even worked 19 hrs with less then 5 hours of sleep for 2 weeks straight. Even tho I can do the job better than anyone else, this is a company that does not give a 5hit about promotions nor pay. Its all about how long you have been there being there bitach and slave. Well, anyways I quit today when I called in and told them it was just a waste of my time being there and there time.
Now, Im gonna start a computer business.
