hey guys,
i have had my SAFC in since monday. and recently i have noticed that it gets pretty hot after driving for about 30 minutes. does the same happen with anyone else? i know that i wired everything properly, there are no shorts, and none of the warnings in the SAFC manual are apparant, but it says nothing about the SAFC getting hot. it does cool off pretty quick though. -------------------- 1994 Celica GT4 WRC Edition

=======For those who use SAFC2========
IMPORTANT When the SAFC2 is becoming hot you will notice the the knocking value will raise as the SAFC2 temperature increase. usually it reaches high values in summer during the day (like 160 at idle!!!!) you don't have to worn for engine knock cause it's a bug of the SAFC2. If you'll put it in front of the vents when AC is activated, you'll see the knocking value reducing in normal range. Keep in mind and drive safe!! |
