Very easy to do I've pulled my struts multiple times to change setups. the only thing you need to worry about is the stock spring tension. It can really hurt you. They have special tools to clamp the spring so once you remove the retaining nut you can release the spring slowly, so no one gets maimed! Shops have machines for this and takes like 5 minutes each, once you have the srut assembly removed. If you have lowering springs on already there is no tension, and once the strut is fully extended (by lifting the car) the spring will be loose. Do it yourself and take your time and be proud of what you've accomplished. At the most take the strut assembly to a shop to loosen the stock spring if you don't want to purchase the tools. Good luck!

David You dont even have to do this on 6gc's. The spring tension isnt that much to warrent. I did all mine buy just being safe and careful. The backs are under no pressure at all, and the fronts pop up about 6 inches. Thats it. Just loosen the top bolt on the strut plate and keep your head back as your doing it. You'll be ok. -------------------- Teh Celica sleeps for Winter '06. Suspension overhaul begins........
