Do they both bolt to the crank in the same way?
If I remember correctly the pressure plate is interchangeable for both but I don't know if they mount to the crank in the same way. -------------------- ![]() Project ST204.5 99.88946% complete... |

I was hoping this wouldn't come up, but I'll actually be using the flexplate not the fly wheel. I just hope I'm not tormented for the rest of my life as a Celica owner.

Yeah. I know what a flexplate is. That's why I was hoping it wouldn't come up.

Just so you know... if your idea is to run a 3SGTE with an auto tranny... you're gonna run into a brick wall unless you're clever with ECU's... -------------------- "It's ok to be naked girl... That's why I made this thread as well: http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=26491 I hope to be able to use the stock 5SFE ECU to control the auto tranny while the megasquirt controls the rest. I figure if I can feed the 5SFE ECU just enough information to get it to shift correctly I won't have to be that "clever". -------------------- ![]() Project ST204.5 99.88946% complete... |
