but i can figure out how to disconnect it, it unscrewed the 2 screws on the shifter and it will pull up a good bit, but it's still connected somewhere I can't see. I hope you dont have to undo the middle console to get it disconnected, if thats the case forget it lol, any info wil be apprecaited

the overdrive button is still connected. I havn't taken that off (I just removed the whole damn assembly and put in a manual one
 ) but it has been said that you have to just cut the wires to the O/D button then reconnect them when you put the shifter back on
