 I have a 8 speaker set up and I have a question., Can I have some feedback for whom that has a *8 sub for the front? |

I have a stock 8" sub as my front speaker and i want to replace it with a JL brand. The JL 8wo would touch the back of the door shell vs the 6" will have room.
Would it better with a midbass 6.5" or a 8"? Also how would i change from a 8" set up to a 6.5"? Also if you have an aftermarket 8" sub for the front whats your feedback on it? This post has been edited by My2Celi: Oct 12, 2006 - 11:55 PM --------------------  <--- I miss :'' ( |

I fit a pair of alpine 8" subs in the front last fall. I had to cut into the door and shape the plastic speaker holder to make it fit but I think it was worth it. I opted for a seperate amp for the subs and got rid of all the factory amps.
