I asked tina this in her SO YEAH thread but I was kinda interested in how people met their boyfriends/girlfriends/wifes/husbands/etc.

heehee, I met him on a secluded beach on a deserted island, literally. (one of the tiny uninhabited islands near St. Thomas, our families were both camping on it)
We didn't hook up from then, though, we were both in the process of breaking up, heehee... a year later we both showed up at a mutual friend's birthday party. I asked him to dance, and after that it was just kind of obvious that we needed to be together. We celebrated 3 years last month.
