okay, so im thinking about buying a new subwoofer, im going to buy a stereo integrity MAG.
now im thinking because im onlybuying one, that i would get a 15'.....but then im hearing that a 12' will be jsut as loud. i want the most bass as possible, and i think the 15' would give me more thump??? thoughts? suggestions? ooo and i also need help with a box thanks -------------------- KB |

15" is a better choice over the 12. You WILL NOT lose any clarity when switching from a 12 to 15 (of the same series) in many cases you will actually gain some. Why do you gain clarity? 15's have larger cones which are able to produce the notes needed with lesser movement of the cone. As far as overall sound quality goes, a subwoofer relies as much on it's installation (box and placement) as it does on itself so make sure you spend careful attention to that.
Great choice going with the Magnum D2. It is the #1 Sound Quality subwoofer (next to the Aura Sound MR, but that's 1000+ dollars) out right now and is also capable of being an SPL beast. This post has been edited by Mystify.: Oct 28, 2006 - 4:45 PM |
