It was running fine and idled great.... untill about a few blocks from a gas station i was going to. suddenly i found my engine with a super low idle close to dying.

I noticed that my charger cooler is low on fluid.. do u think that the low fluid would cause a heat soaked charger cooler to be putting hot air into the engine, resulting in a bad idle?

I check all vac lines and they look fine.

any ideas on what could becausing a bad idle? should i take a look at the idle control???

Sounds like your IAC came unplugged, clogged or died. Pinch the line going to it to see if it changes your idle... You should be able to pull it off, clean it and get it back working again.

must have been that cus it idles fine now after i drove it a bit. perhaps it got cleared out.

the way i see it, if it where the fuel filter id have a bad ride across the rpm line not just at idle right?

either way it runs fine now.
