By 3rd gen, we aren't talking about the MK3 MR2 are we? I'm assiuming "3rd gen MR2 clip" was referring to a 3rd gen 3SGTE clip from an MR2, which he would probably want for the E153 LSD trans as well as the 3rd gen 3SGTE motor.
If thats the case, you would be using the three GT mounts with your E153, and the rear mount you can either custom make a mount by welding a plate on the bracket and going from there which i've personally seen done, or you can use the ST205 rear mount and bracket. This is the best bolt-on solution, but will probably require a phonecall to Toysport or getting the parts numbers from Toyota and placing an order from a dealer that is able to get you the parts. Otherwise, I believe that the only other things needed in using an MR2 clip would be that you would probably want to purchase an ST185 ECU and wiring harness, and you'd need to convert some of the linkage on the E153 to FWD use from an MR setup. -------------------- 3rd gen ST205 3SGTE - Alive and boosting. |
