there is always benefit to lsd, however i think its all relative for desired power... many of us i think are happy under 300, which, if you have a good set up, torque steer becomes less of a problem... its all a traction issue, read up on the in the stickies section... of course lsd help, but i dont think its all that necessary on our cars, unless you want to get into the higher number range... power wise

QUOTE(quicknstyle @ Nov 10, 2006 - 9:44 AM) there is always benefit to lsd, however i think its all relative for desired power... many of us i think are happy under 300, which, if you have a good set up, torque steer becomes less of a problem... its all a traction issue, read up on the in the stickies section... of course lsd help, but i dont think its all that necessary on our cars, unless you want to get into the higher number range... power wise Not always. My friend, whose doing up a 300zx is sitting at 404rwhp. He converted the tranny from an auto to a 5spd, but when he did he opted for one w/o a lsd. The way he set his suspension up, he had better acceleration from a stop w/o the lsd than when he had it in. |
