About twice a month people will come to the door asking if my brothers 1984 Toyota Celica-Supra is for sale and it kinda hurts my feelings that no one likes my car. :-(
Yesterday a guy and his 16 year old son came by cuz the son liked the car and they were wondering if it was for sale since they havent seen it move and my dad is horrible with people. This is how the conversation went Guy - Hi. Im remodeling the house across the street and my son and i were wondering if the white celica was for sale since weve never seen it move My dad - ABSOLUTELY NOT Guy - ok then My dad - It was stolen a year ago and im still in the process of getting parts to fix it. How old is your son anyways? Guy - 16 My dad - He couldnt afford it anyways ME in the background - DAD!!!!!! THAT WAS RUDE! My dad - he couldnt afford the insurance on it either anyways i was so embarassed that my dad would say that. We dont know what that kid could or could not own. Its a 10,000 dollar car but how do we know that the guy isnt rich? I know a 17 year old kids mom who bought him an 85 celica-supra for i think it was 15,000 or something. It just made me mad my dad would say that! Makes me sad that no one comes asking if my cars for sale - sigh! Maybe if i left it sit there for long enough someone will ask. -------------------- Cruisin down the street in my Infiniti...always lookin for my next trip to Sin City

QUOTE(BlackCelicaGT94 @ Nov 13, 2006 - 9:03 PM) 1984 Toyota Supra with porsche components under the hood and fikse wheels, 7mgte swap and lots of other stuff - uhh its pretty damn rare to find one like his. A 23 year old car with a non-original engine, and still being put together from when it was stolen/vandalized? Yeah, sounds like a real gem. I guess I better start saving my money.
