Ok, so now that winter is here and teh celica is un-insured and all tucked away for the winter so I can rip out the underbody and rebuild the suspension, I was driving my previous winter beater which was a 1988 Pontiac Grandam. But, sadly, it has pretty darn near blown up on me finally. Pics of said car below.
Ok, so I went out and bought a 1995 Ford SScort. Only 100k on it and it runs and drives like a champ. 5 speed too. (Less friggin miles then my celica). Pics of SScort below. So now, its time to finish off the Grandspam. The question is, what should we do to it. We already took a previous winter beater on its last leg and took the front windshield out and took the doors off and rallied it. (1989 Dodge Daytona) So we need some really really good ideas on what to do with this car. What ever we choose a video camera will be invovled in the whole undertaking. Remember, we have access to alot of resources. Like vast country fields, and any tool imaginable. You thoughts please! Discuss! -------------------- Teh Celica sleeps for Winter '06. Suspension overhaul begins........

i'll furnish a list of thoroughly outrageous ideas!
1. make a super-dorifto snowomobile out of it. just replace the rear wheels with some sort of makeshift skis. it would make one hell of a car-sledding rig. 2. turn it into a hot tub. cut the roof off, weld the doors shut, and water seal the cabin with a big tarp. buy some champagne and invite some pretty ladiez to check out your "jacuzzi." 3. build a tank out of it. buy some scrap metal, remove the mirrors, lights, and all the trim. weld some bumper and frame reinforcements to the front, and remove all the glass and replace it with mesh (extruded sheetmetal would work well) to protect from flying debris. then go see what sort of things you can knock over/crush/crash into with it. 4. drive it to michigan, and me and my buddies will put you up for a couple days, buy some beer, and we can light it on fire and push it off the cliff at the gravel pit.
