Hi all.
I'm pretty new to doing anything with cars not being mechanically minded (but wanting and willing to learn) but necessity forces me to act (very theatrical I know). For a few years I have been driving round in a car on the mobility scheme so all repair work and such like has been done for me. I always wanted my own car though and bought my dream Celica. I called into a friends house for ten minutes and came out and found my window smashed and the radio missing. If that wasn't bad enough they have totally wrenched out the internal "cage" or whatever it's called where the radio sat and handfulls of wiring too. I've sorted out most of it (except how to fit a radio in a place that a radio can no longer go) but for love nor money I cant get the indicators working. Fuses are ok but I have no idea of what else to check. Because of my circumstances and the fact I spent all I saved on the car and insurance (which apparently didn't cover for the damage the toe rags did) I cant afford to get it into a garage or get an auto electrician to give it the once over. If anyone has an idea what I could try please let me know. I'd really appreciate your help. Best to all Steve -------------------- No matter where you go, there you are.

There is a hazard indicator which should be some where in the top of the center console where your radio was. This controls the indicator lights. I noticed that when I took mine out they no longer worked so I Believe that it is the control module as well. So check too see if all those wires are connected if not maybe the switch itself got broke.

Cheers lads. I'll look into this tomorrow when I've got some daylight. I also noticed the clock doesn't bloody work either. I'll keep you posted.
Many thanks Steve -------------------- No matter where you go, there you are.
