 radar|lidar detector cell muting - is it possible? |

i've got a whistler euro948 radar/lidar detector which does a great job, but the sound alert is way too quiet if the music is turned up loud (oh yes, i like my music high quality and high volume). so i either have to drive slow with my music loud or drive fast with music quiet so i can hear the detector in case the cops are targeting me. so the question is:
is there any way to make a cell-muting bridge for a detector (i think ALL lidar jammers have this option factory ready) so it would mute my audio system when it's detecting something? -------------------- You say you love flowers but you pick them, You say you love animals but you eat them, I fear the day you'll tell me you love me.

what is the model of your head unit?
if the head unit you have has the cell mute feature, it should be a simple wiring job to get it to work -------------------- ----------------------6GC's FIRST V6----------------------
