i wonder if the wii will be as hard to get as the ps3 this holiday. its not as popular, and i hear they have more units shipping, but on the other hand its the cheapest out of all the consoles.

There will be about 3-4 million Wii's in the US for sale, as I understand it. There are about 150,000-250,000 total PS3's in the US. They originally projected close to half a million, but fell short because the system isn't easy to build, so Sony has to manufacture all of them in-house. So, some people who even pre-ordered the system aren't going to get one until later in the year or early next year. This is why they're selling for 2 grand on ebay. Wii on the other hand has a different interface, better games, and some pretty solid launch titles. Zelda kicks some serious ass. |
