The computer for the cruise control is a separate module.. located at the passenger side.

Ah, fantastic! Thanks for the info. Can I use 844240-14270 (from a mkiv supra) or should I obtain the one that was deisgned for the car? Also, I assume there is no complication when the car is a manual - just need the clutch switch also, right? (UK manual GTs didn't have CC as standard - it was probably an option.)
