i've got a whistler euro948 radar/lidar detector which does a great job, but the sound alert is way too quiet if the music is turned up loud (oh yes, i like my music high quality and high volume). so i either have to drive slow with my music loud or drive fast with music quiet so i can hear the detector in case the cops are targeting me. so the question is:
is there any way to make a cell-muting bridge for a detector (i think ALL lidar jammers have this option factory ready) so it would mute my audio system when it's detecting something? -------------------- You say you love flowers but you pick them, You say you love animals but you eat them, I fear the day you'll tell me you love me.

all you need now is any (negative or positive) output from the radar, if there is one. You said you needed an interface right? does it have a plug at the back for that interface? if so you may find a signal, either positive (and hopefuly 12v) or negative. If you do have a positive 12v, use a relay to invert it into a ground. If you have negative, connect it to the HU's brown wire
