I've recently noticed that I have quite a lot of white smoke coming out of the exhaust on startup in the GT4, but it clears once engine has warmed up, car runs perfectly, so am I in for an expensive problem or is it just nothing????
I was hoping that it was just condensation or something because of the colder weather! -------------------- 1996 UK white ST205

I`d say you have nothing to worry about, in this cold weather, alot of condensation collects in the exhasut, and the cold air makes the exhaust gases more visible.......if it continues when the car is hot, then worry, if not....its just one of those things...mine dose it aswell and its running almost perfectly (for once)

I was browsing on the GT4EC forums and it seems it could be something to do with the turbo........... lets hope not!! Giving the car in for a service on wednesday so I will wait and see what the mechanic says. -------------------- 1996 UK white ST205

Plus if he did, I doubt he would be able to run the car for very long. |
