Just recently when I start my car and begin driving, there is a squeeling noise that can be heard from the drive rs side (I can't determine if it is from the front or the rear). When I put the car in reverse for a short period of time, then put it back into drive, the noise disappears...any thoughts?

Some things you could next time the car is cold (sitting overnight).

1. Does the noise happen only when the car is moving in Drive with the engine running?

2. Will the noise stop if you put the car in neutral?

3. Will the noise stop when in neutral at different engine rpm?

4. Will the sound stop only when moving in Reverse with the engine running?

5. Does it happen when the engine is shut off but the car is still moving? Put it neutral and slowly roll down a small hill and listen.

6. Does the car make the noise when it is warmed up or only when cold start up?

If you are getting different answers to the 6 questions above there will be high probability that you can find the source of your noise. smile.gif
