Hi all, I bought a Japanese imported Celi GT earlier this year -car of my dreams. The rear spoiler looks different from the UK spec Celis as it hasn't got the middle support.
Reading the forums, i'm confused about what a hatchback or a coupe looks like - are they the same shape? -------------------- san0.:GT-SS2:. |

QUOTE(thatcelicaguy @ Dec 2, 2006 - 8:28 AM) hatchback: coupe: That makes no sense, especially in British English. All 6g celicas are coupés. A coupé is a car with 2 or 2+2 seats (where the +2 indicates occasional passengers or children). I agree with the first picture - that is a Hatchback (or Liftback) Coupé. The second picture is of a Fastback/Notchback Coupé. As an aside, the difference between a 2-door Sedan/Saloon and a Coupé is the amount of rear accomodation. If the 2-door model offers at least 33 cubic feet / 0.934 m³ / 934 litres of rear accomodation then it is classified as a 2-door Sedan/Saloon. Otherwise, it is classified as a coupé. -------------------- Davey
