I just installed a VIS carbon fiber hood[u] with the vents and the one and only problem that I have during installation is that it doesn't lock even though it closes to proper fiitment. I concluded that maybe that the hook that's attached on the hood may be too short, which means it may not be reaching far enough into the latch in order to lock. Has anyone installed this type of hood before and encountered the same problem as I? If so, what did you do to correct it?

Thanks,
nemesis

Hood pins... ???

Thats the thing im gonna do for sure when i get my cf hood from vis. Thats cos one of my friend was driving on the highway with his mk3 supra like 120km/h when his hood popped out and smashed the windshield. I wont want the same thing happen to me. And i like the look of some decent hoodpins alot those just gives something to the hood.
