Over the winter break I have some work planned for the Celi, including a AE111 ECU conversion, open ITBs with velocity stacks, cleaning the engine bay up a bit, maybe a lightweight flywheel, etc. I've got a few questions before I begin with my projects.
1. Will any inline fuel filter (like the one pictured below) work with my stock fuel system? I don't like the location of the stock fuel filter and want to run an inline unit mounted near the lower part of the firewall. 2. Does anyone know of any cars that have a 22-pin ECU plug that looks like this: I need that plug so that I can wire up my AE111 ECU. If I just know of a car that it comes from, I can search the junkyards and maybe find it. 3. My car has two radiator fans. Which one is the fan that is optional and only comes on cars with A/C?

QUOTE(Coomer @ Dec 5, 2006 - 10:25 AM) Over the winter break I have some work planned for the Celi, including a AE111 ECU conversion, open ITBs with velocity stacks, cleaning the engine bay up a bit, maybe a lightweight flywheel, etc. I've got a few questions before I begin with my projects. 1. Which one is the fan that is optional and only comes on cars with A/C? 1) the inline filter you showed will not work. The reason is because that fuel filter is for a carberated engine and does not need to handle the psi our fuel injected systems are under. But i would assume another fuel filter for another fuel injected car will work, after all its just a filter. This post has been edited by Hanyo: Dec 5, 2006 - 2:30 PM |
