I was just wondering if anybody has theyre 3SGTE swapped celi as a daily driver??
Do you have alot of problems out of it, and if you do, is it alot of upkeep? Im in quite a Situation trying to figure out what would be more cost efficient. A 3s swap, or just turboing my 5s. The 3s-gte is a great daily driver once you get all the kinks out. If you keep things close to stock (intake, FMIC, mild boost controller, downpipe/exhaust) it will be very reliable. You will get somewhat worse gas mileage though!
![]() My swapped ST205 motor has only had problems related to things specifically related to the swap - oil filter relocation and a leaking tranny input shaft seal. If everything had been custom (ie. 5s-fte or 3s-fte in my case) you have the potential for problems everywhere. -Charlie -------------------- 2003 Subaru WRX Wagon
