im thinkin of buying a short shifter for christmas, and i was thinkin how a short shifter feels in our car because ive never driven a car with a short shifter. Especially in a st does the accerleration improve like in aggresive driving and stuff let me know. Where is a good place to buy a short shifter also?

So you are talking about a shorter shift lever and not an actual short shifter assembly then right? I have shortened the shift lever on many Toyotas [MR2's Celica's etc.] and can tell you all this will really do is give you the feel of a short shifter and your hand will move in a smaller "box" or area. Won't improve acceleration by anything noticeable. It will look better to though. If anybody wants one of these for free just send me a spare lever from the junkyard and indicate how much and where [as in the straight part or do you want the bend taken out] you want it shortened. I will be happy to do it for free. You just pay shipping.
